This amazing volcano is found near the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The Mid- Atlantic Ridge is a seismically active tectonic boundary. It is the place where the North American and Eurasian plates meet. Geldingadal volcano is about 32 kilometers (20 miles) distance from the capital, Reykjavík, and almost 11km ( 7 miles ) from Grindavik, commonly known as the Fishing Town.

About the tour
At the start of the tour when you will ride the helicopter, you will see the breathtaking views of Reykjavik city. The city has some multicolor rooftops, the famous BlueLagoon spa, lush greens, and blue lakes in between. After covering some distance you will see Hallgrimskirkja church and the Harpa Concert Hall.
Some of the other main attractions that you would find are the fumes and scenic vistas of Geldingadalur Valley and Reykjanes Geopark.
