Our stay will be at a cosy country hotel near Kirkjubæjarklaustur, after having some rest, we will visit Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, and then we will explore the Reynisfjara black sand beach. From the hotel, you can see the Northern Lights from September to April if weather permits.

Next, we will move towards a thrilling glacier hike for three-hours with an expert guide on Vatnajökull. It’s the largest glacier in Europe. If you visit in the months of October to April, we will explore the Crystal Ice Cave. We will also visit the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the iconic Diamond Beach, where glittering icebergs contrast with black sands. We will end the day with a cosy stay in Southeast Iceland, a wonderful spot from where you can chase the Northern Lights from September to April.

Our first stop will be in Djúpivogur, a charming fishing village known for outdoor sculpture. After that, we will explore the Wilderness Center between Vatnajökull glacier and Lake Lagarfljót. Here you can do adventurous activities like hiking and biking, and enjoy the history in a museum, restaurant, and spa. After that, you can relax in the hot spring spa, reminiscent of Viking bathing traditions.

Next, we will explore the surreal Námaskarð geothermal area, its boiling springs and lively mud pots look really wonderful. Then we will visit the fascinating Dimmuborgir formations. Before the day ends, we will see the magnificent Goðafoss waterfall and the breathtaking view of Eyjafjörður fjord.
At night, we will stay in a charming country hotel in Akureyri, giving you a chance to explore the town and in the months between September and April, you can also chase the Northern Lights. In winter, road conditions might affect the access to Stuðlagil, but we will provide alternative activities for your safety and enjoyment.

Cancellation and Amendment Policies:
- More than 14 days before trip departure: 100% refund of the total tour price.
- Less than 14 days before trip departure: 50% refund of the total tour price. The remaining 50% is non-refundable to cover direct costs incurred.
- Less than 48 hours before trip departure: No refund. All costs such as guides and transport will be charged to Tourism Iceland.
