Itinerary

Day 1 – Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Explore the breathtaking Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature.” Visit dramatic cliffs, lava fields, black pebble beaches, and glacier views. Admire the iconic Kirkjufell mountain and coastal scenery.

In the evening, head out to search for the Northern Lights (winter season only).

Day 2 – Borgarfjörður Region

Travel through the scenic Borgarfjörður area. Visit:

  • Hraunfossar lava waterfalls
  • Barnafoss waterfall
  • Reykholt historic village
  • Deildartunguhver hot spring
  • Optional relaxation at Krauma geothermal baths.

Day 3 – Golden Circle & South Coast

Follow Iceland’s famous Golden Circle:

  • Thingvellir National Park
  • Gullfoss Waterfall
  • Strokkur Geysir

Continue along the South Coast to see:

  • Seljalandsfoss
  • Skógafoss
  • Reynisfjara black sand beach

Possible Northern Lights viewing at night.

Day 4 – Glacier Lagoon & Ice Cave

Visit the spectacular Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs drift toward the Atlantic Ocean. Walk along Diamond Beach and explore a natural ice cave inside Vatnajökull Glacier with a certified guide.

This is one of Iceland’s most unforgettable experiences.

Day 5 – South Iceland & Return to Reykjavik

Enjoy more South Iceland scenery before returning to Reykjavík. Stop at waterfalls and scenic viewpoints along the way.

Cancellation and Amendment Policies:

  • More than 14 days before trip departure: 100% refund of the total tour price.
  • Less than 14 days before trip departure: 50% refund of the total tour price. The remaining 50% is non-refundable to cover direct costs incurred.
  • Less than 48 hours before trip departure: No refund. All costs such as guides and transport will be charged to Tourism Iceland.

Extras and rental of gear booked as part of a multi-day tour are subject to the same terms as outlined above.
