1. Reykjavík Pickup and Departure
Begin with pickup from your confirmed Reykjavík location at approximately 08:00. Meet your guide and travel towards the Reykjanes Peninsula while learning about the volcanic systems and recent eruptions that have shaped southwest Iceland.
2. Reykjanes Volcano Hike
Begin a guided hike through an accessible volcanic area selected according to weather, trail conditions and official safety restrictions. Depending on conditions, the route may explore landscapes around Fagradalsfjall, Meradalir, Litli-Hrútur or other accessible viewpoints.
3. Recent Lava Fields
Walk through landscapes transformed by recent eruptions and see how fresh lava formations contrast with older moss-covered terrain. Your guide explains the geology, eruption history and tectonic forces responsible for this constantly changing region.
