Golden Circle Sightseeing & Blue Lagoon Relaxation
Explore Iceland’s famous Golden Circle during the day before finishing with a relaxing geothermal experience at the Blue Lagoon. The combination allows you to see major Icelandic landmarks and enjoy the lagoon without arranging separate transport or admission.
1. Reykjavík Departure
Begin from Reykjavík’s BSÍ Bus Terminal at approximately 10:00, with optional hotel or designated bus-stop pickup available beforehand. Meet your guide and travel into Iceland’s scenic countryside.
2. Þingvellir National Park
Visit Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its important place in Icelandic history and its dramatic rift landscape. See where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates gradually move apart while learning about the area from your guide.
3. Geysir Geothermal Area
Explore a geothermal landscape of steaming ground, hot springs and bubbling features. Watch Strokkur erupt at regular intervals, sending hot water into the air in one of the Golden Circle’s best-known natural displays.
4. Gullfoss Waterfall
Continue to Gullfoss, where glacial water descends in two powerful stages into a rugged canyon. Walk to the designated viewpoints and experience the scale, mist and sound of one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.
5. Return to Reykjavík
Return to Reykjavík’s BSÍ Bus Terminal in the late afternoon. The current schedule provides a short break before the Blue Lagoon transfer, giving you time for refreshments before the second part of the tour.
6. Transfer to the Blue Lagoon
Depart Reykjavík at approximately 17:00 and travel through the volcanic landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula towards the Blue Lagoon.
7. Blue Lagoon Comfort Experience
Enter the Blue Lagoon at approximately 18:00 with your included Comfort admission. Relax in the warm geothermal water while enjoying your silica mud mask, towel use and one included drink.
Take time to unwind at your own pace surrounded by the lagoon’s distinctive lava-field setting.
8. Return to Reykjavík
Meet your scheduled transfer from the Blue Lagoon at approximately 20:15 and travel back to Reykjavík. Final arrival time may vary according to traffic and operating conditions.
