Itinerary

Blue Lagoon by Day and Northern Lights by Night

Combine a relaxing afternoon at Iceland’s famous geothermal lagoon with an evening Aurora Borealis search. Transportation between the main experiences is arranged, allowing you to enjoy both without organising separate tours.

1. Departure from Reykjavík

Begin from Reykjavík’s BSÍ Bus Terminal or your confirmed pickup point. Travel through the volcanic landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula towards the Blue Lagoon.

2. Blue Lagoon Comfort Experience

Arrive at the Blue Lagoon and enter using your included Comfort admission. Relax in the geothermal water and enjoy your silica mud mask, towel use and one included drink.

Take time to enjoy the lagoon and its surrounding volcanic landscape at your own pace.

3. Return Transfer to Reykjavík

After your Blue Lagoon visit, board the scheduled coach back to Reykjavík. Use the break between experiences for dinner and to prepare warm clothing for the evening.

4. Northern Lights Departure

Meet at BSÍ Bus Terminal or your confirmed evening pickup point for the second part of the tour. Leave Reykjavík behind and travel towards darker countryside with your Northern Lights guide.

5. Northern Lights Search

Your guide monitors cloud coverage, weather and aurora activity to select the most promising available viewing area. Because conditions change nightly, there is no fixed Northern Lights route.

6. Aurora Viewing Experience

Spend time outdoors beneath the Icelandic night sky while searching for the Aurora Borealis. Your guide provides information about the lights and the conditions that influence their visibility.

Northern Lights sightings depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Return to Reykjavík

After the evening search, travel back to Reykjavík. The final return time can vary depending on weather, road conditions and the viewing location selected that night.
