From late September to April, witness the enchanting Northern Lights painting the sky with vibrant hues. In winter, from October to April, the glacier hike is substituted with an exhilarating Crystal Ice Cave expedition.

Day 1 – Arrival Day – Reykjavík City

Continuing our expedition, we’ll encounter the striking and diverse scenery around Lón, including the remarkable Þvottárskriður landslides and the breathtaking Álftafjarðar fjord. Our next stop is Djúpivogur, a quaint fishing village renowned for its warm and eco-conscious community. Don’t miss the chance to admire Eggin í Gleðivík (The Eggs of Merry Bay), an impressive outdoor sculpture that adds to the village’s charm.

As we journey through the dramatic mountains, renowned for their excellent ski slopes, we’ll embark on a thrilling three-hour whale-watching excursion from Dalvík harbor. Glide across Eyjafjörður, keeping our eyes peeled for humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, minke whales, and even occasional sightings of blue whales.
